Blair Backs Out

With the release of ‘A Journey,’ the book of memoirs by former Prime Minister Tony Blair, anti-war protestors have been in full force. Though the autobiographical work sold approximately 92,000 copies in the first four days, Blair has cancelled both his publication party at Tate Modern Gallery and his book signing at Waterstone’s, showing success to those who oppose him.
Blair claims that his decision to postpone these events was made in consideration for his friends, to save them an unpleasant and frightening experience.
Millions of people criticise Blair for his hand in the Iraq war, of which hundreds of thousands have lost their lives, demanding that he be held accountable for his war crimes.
