How do you find work in the UK?

For a third year running, Expo Opportunities will help unite job seekers and firms with job vacancies, at the event which takes place on the 14th July.

Sometimes it is difficult to make your way and find suitable work in a new country. That is why  Expo Opportunities 2012 wants to unite in the same space firms looking for recruitment and citizens who want to find a work opportunity.

At the event attendees will be able to participate in the selection process by firms interested in recruiting new personnel or who are looking for candidates for internships, as well as getting themselves known and introduced to new companies.

Expo Opportunities 2012 also aims to explore the work potential of its participants. Consequently, at the event the individual will be shown how to make the best use of networking as an essential tool for the development of their professional career, discover different interview techniques, personal branding and leadership and become informed of their rights in the workplace.

It is foreseen that more than 20 companies will attend the event, such as Wiki Jobs, Hyman Capita, Prospects National Careers Service, British and Colombian, Chamber of Commerce, Bricol, The Grange Hotels, Take on services and Apollo Global, among others.

Also, the Ambassador of Columbia in the UK, Mauricio Rodríguez Múnera, will attend and give the keynote speech at the forum. In addition to him, invited guests like the chairman of the firm The Development of New Businesses, George P Johnson, will attend, among others.

Entrance is free; however you will need to register. The event takes place on Saturday the 14th of July 2012 from 9.00 AM to 3.30 PM, at The Grange St. Paul’s Hotel, 10 Godliman Street, EC4V 5AJ. London.
