The economic war against Cuba

A free seminar led by  special guest Salim Lamrani regarding the economic situation in Cuba over the last 20 year swill be held on May 28th.

Lamrani is an academic, journalist, and a specialist in international relations and the geopolitical strategies employed by the United States of America for many years in the Caribbean.

The seminar aims to display and explain the origins and evolution of a policy which contravenes international rights and is increasingly suffocating the Cuban population.

Lamrani is the professor in charge of several international courses at the Université Paris-Descartes and at the Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, he is also an active member of the Network of Intellectuals, Artists and Social Activists in Defence of Humanity.

Using official documents from the USA, Lamrani aims to clarify the true motives behind the vicious, blatant and unjustifiable blockade which has been roundly condemned by people all over the world.

Guerra economica 6After the seminar, Lamrani will be signing copies of his new book “The Economic War Against Cuba”, which has been described by Wayne S. Smith the diplomat and ex-head of the United States Cuban Interests Section as: “An excellent summary of the economic sanctions that the United States has imposed upon Cuba, the way they have imposed themselves and their rules on Cuba for more than half a century and the damage that they have done to the Cuban public”.

Lamrani will be giving several seminars across the United Kingdom as part of a planned tour called “End it Now”, against the United States of America’s blockade policy on Cuba.
