On July 14, an Argentinian band will be visiting London for the first time since a two-year-long break from the live stage and this city will also be the only stop in the UK for their fans.
“I want to go to the concert now”! “Come back to Mexico City”! “When will be the next time you visit Buenos Aires? I already miss you”!… These are some comments from the music enthusiasts on social medias merely several months after this group finished its tour in South America.
It is a long-established ensemble, from as early as 1985 butthe members have changed during this period with the exceptions of Vicentico and Sr. Flavio who are also responsible forwriting most of the songs and lyrics..
Their sound covers a wide range of music genres including ska, funk, jazz, rock and so on. Last year, the world tour La Salvación de Solo y Juan attracted over half a million people in audiences and received Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song categories in Latin Grammy.
Others taking part in the concert are DJ Scratchy and Boom Boom Kid who are talented in producing their mestizo of rock’n’roll, reggae and other types of rhythm, and in turn bringing their expectant spectators a music feast on that Friday night.
