Siete a\u00f1os vivi\u00f3 en el Reino Unido sin documentos, ocultando su identidad y origen. Hoy, liberada de cualquier atadura, le ense\u00f1a a su hijo y los dem\u00e1s latinos en Londres c\u00f3mo sobrevivir en ambientes hostiles y discriminadores.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00c1ngela Camacho derrocha latinoamericanidad. Lo dice su collar de colores, sus pulsera, sus grandes aros, el cintur\u00f3n, su morral y su tono de piel. Pero para esta mujer 39 a\u00f1os y madre de Pedro, de 12, esto no fue siempre as\u00ed. Durante largos a\u00f1os debi\u00f3 ocultar sus ra\u00edces.<\/p>\n

Hija de padres bolivianos que se mudaron a la Argentina militar de los a\u00f1os 70, \u00c1ngela parti\u00f3 de su natal Buenos Aires con 22 a\u00f1os, en plena \u00e9poca de corralito e inestabilidad pol\u00edtica. \u201cEra una \u00e9poca dif\u00edcil y mis padres decidieron mandarme a Europa, era muy peligroso all\u00e1. Decidimos que yo pod\u00eda quedarme un a\u00f1o viajando. Tuve el privilegio de que financieramente \u2013a pesar de todo\u2013 estaban bien\u201d, recuerda.<\/p>\n

Tras medio a\u00f1o recorriendo el continente y gracias a la existencia de familiares en Inglaterra, opt\u00f3 por quedarse a estudiar ingl\u00e9s un par de a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

\u201cAqu\u00ed me cambi\u00e9 de visa, as\u00ed que trabajaba y estudiaba. Trabaj\u00e9 primero de mesera, porque ac\u00e1 mis t\u00edos tienen una cafeter\u00eda\u201d, explica.<\/p>\n

Al tiempo conoci\u00f3 al padre de su hijo. \u201cAh\u00ed fue cuando se empez\u00f3 a complicar un poco todo. No pudimos pagar la siguiente visa y decid\u00ed quedarme indocumentada. Despu\u00e9s de trabajar de mesera empec\u00e9 como ni\u00f1era, porque me dejaban cuidar mi hijo y al de la familia con la que estaba trabajando\u201d.<\/p>\n

A\"AngelaCamacho7_MarcosOrtiz\"l poco tiempo el padre debi\u00f3 partir. Ahora eran solo \u00c1ngela y el peque\u00f1o Pedro. \u201cEl nene ten\u00eda 3 a\u00f1os cuando nos quedamos irregulares. Pero me pareci\u00f3 muy importante como latinoamericana sin derecho al pasaporte europeo s\u00ed d\u00e1rselo a mi hijo\u201d, se\u00f1ala.<\/p>\n

Muy involucrada con el resto de la comunidad latina y con amigos en Anti Raids Network<\/a> que le avisaban de las redadas de migraciones en los distintos barrios de Londres, \u00c1ngela se acostumbr\u00f3 a esconder sus or\u00edgenes al estar en la calle.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe mandaban mensajes de texto y me dec\u00edan no pases por Elephant & Castle porque por la ma\u00f1ana vimos las camionetas. S\u00ed ten\u00eda miedo, pero estaba muy informada de cu\u00e1les eran mis derechos, qu\u00e9 pod\u00eda hacer y qu\u00e9 no\u201d, recuerda. As\u00ed aprendi\u00f3 todos los trucos para pasar inadvertida. \u201cPor ejemplo, debes usar colores pastel en el bus, no puedes andar llena de colores mostrando tu cultura\u201d, dice riendo.<\/p>\n

\u201cMi hijo desde muy temprana edad sabe su estatus y sab\u00eda qu\u00e9 hacer. Apenas pudo viajar solo y tener una tarjeta Oyster, un juego de llaves y su tel\u00e9fono, si \u00edbamos a una marcha o donde pod\u00edamos estar en riesgo, ya sab\u00eda qu\u00e9 hacer. Sab\u00eda que si me arrestaban \u00e9l solo deb\u00eda irse a la casa y llamar a la familia\u201d, explica.<\/p>\n

\u201cSi nos agarraban a los dos era mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil deportarnos. Entonces trat\u00e9 siempre de evitar situaciones de riesgo donde estuvi\u00e9semos los dos juntos\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"AngelaCamacho5_MarcosOrtiz\"Todo cambi\u00f3 en 2015, cuando logr\u00f3 obtener sus papeles. \u201cDesde que tengo mi documentaci\u00f3n en regla me visto sin ocultar mi latinoamericanidad\u201d, se\u00f1ala. El a\u00f1o pasado ambos viajaron a Argentina y Bolivia. \u201cEra muy importante para nosotros conectarnos con nuestra tierra, vida social y el movimiento all\u00e1. No importa d\u00f3nde nazca o el pasaporte que tenga, \u00e9l es boliviano. Es un ni\u00f1o ind\u00edgena, nuestra familia viene de la sierra\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00c1ngela participa activamente del Movimiento Jaguar Despierto<\/a> y The wretched of the earth<\/a>, preocupada de temas como el sexismo, medioambiente y explotaci\u00f3n de trabajadores, entre otros. Hoy asiste a todo tipo de manifestaciones con Pedro. \u201cEs muy importante que los ni\u00f1os sepan c\u00f3mo funciona el sistema, la educaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtico-social desde una edad muy peque\u00f1a\u201d, dice tras una manifestaci\u00f3n contra la detenci\u00f3n de inmigrantes en Yarl\u2019s Wood.<\/p>\n

Mientras prepara nuevos talleres de manualidades y arte para mujeres y ni\u00f1os, concluye: \u201cMe gusta mucho vivir en Londres. Siento que estoy haciendo socialmente un cambio en mi comunidad y en los ambientes donde me muevo. Nac\u00ed en Buenos Aires, pero me presento como boliviana. Aprend\u00ed a ser boliviana ac\u00e1\u201d.<\/p>\n
