{"id":180516,"date":"2018-05-14T00:20:01","date_gmt":"2018-05-13T23:20:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tucuentavip.com\/es\/?p=180516"},"modified":"2025-07-05T08:51:30","modified_gmt":"2025-07-05T07:51:30","slug":"carlos-reyes-sintiendose-en-casa-en-el-ru","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/es\/2018\/05\/14\/carlos-reyes-sintiendose-en-casa-en-el-ru\/","title":{"rendered":"Carlos Reyes: sinti\u00e9ndose en casa en el RU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Siguiendo la historia familiar, se recibi\u00f3 de profesor pero decidi\u00f3 emigrar al Reino Unido para encontrar las oportunidades que su tierra natal le niega. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-272044 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Londres-ciudad-Inglaterra-Pixabay-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"328\" height=\"492\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Londres-ciudad-Inglaterra-Pixabay-2.jpg 512w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Londres-ciudad-Inglaterra-Pixabay-2-133x200.jpg 133w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Londres-ciudad-Inglaterra-Pixabay-2-431x647.jpg 431w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 328px) 100vw, 328px\" \/>Sonia Gumiel<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Profesor, m\u00fasico y t\u00e9cnico en calefacci\u00f3n, Carlos naci\u00f3 en M\u00e1laga (Espa\u00f1a), donde vivi\u00f3 toda su vida hasta hace un a\u00f1o cuando se mud\u00f3 a Bristol.<\/p>\n<p>Cuenta su historia desde el cuarto piso del Bristol College, donde el ambiente se complementa con alumnos que van y vienen y que hacen sentir a Carlos en su lugar en el mundo: en un aula, rodeado del alumnado.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque en sus venas lleva la m\u00fasica y la ense\u00f1anza, con 20 a\u00f1os realiz\u00f3 un grado medio en instalaciones el\u00e9ctricas, antes de estudiar su bachillerato para licenciarse en magisterio.<\/p>\n<p>La docencia en la vida de Carlos no solo es la l\u00ednea profesional que m\u00e1s le satisface sino tambi\u00e9n la actividad de su padre y una trayectoria familiar que no dud\u00f3 en seguir cuando era joven. Pero tambi\u00e9n es amante del blues, jazz y rock y lleva m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os tocando.\u00a0Su anhelo es reunir sus dos pasiones, la m\u00fasica y la ense\u00f1anza, y poder dedicarse a ello en un futuro no muy lejano.\u00a0Sin embargo, su sue\u00f1o hab\u00eda quedado truncado cuando, al finalizar su carrera en Espa\u00f1a y realizar un examen de oposici\u00f3n para optar a un puesto en la docencia, se dio cuenta que realmente trabajar en su anhelada profesi\u00f3n en su pa\u00eds no es viable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa econom\u00eda espa\u00f1ola no funciona y con ello tampoco la educaci\u00f3n\u201d, apunta, y explica que no le gusta c\u00f3mo est\u00e1 establecido el sistema educativo. \u201cClaro &#8211; dice &#8211; \u00a0cambiar el sistema no interesa, un pueblo ignorante es un pueblo que se maneja bien\u00bb. En 2015, gracias a una amiga instalada en Londres, Carlos tuvo su primer intento en tierras inglesas. En aquella ocasi\u00f3n, Londres se le hizo muy grande y caro. A causa de ello, su estancia fue de solo 2 meses. Pero en 2017 decidi\u00f3 \u00a0retornar a Inglaterra, en este caso a Bristol.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-272040\" src=\"https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Londres-ciudad-Inglaterra-Pixabay-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Londres-ciudad-Inglaterra-Pixabay-4.jpg 896w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Londres-ciudad-Inglaterra-Pixabay-4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Londres-ciudad-Inglaterra-Pixabay-4-431x288.jpg 431w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Londres-ciudad-Inglaterra-Pixabay-4-862x575.jpg 862w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/>Bristol se presenta como una ciudad que le ofrece aquello que busca: una ciudad del tama\u00f1o de su M\u00e1laga natal, distancias y desplazamientos cortos que no le limitan su vida y la posibilidad de trabajar.<\/p>\n<p>Sus primeros pasos laborales fueron en un hotel como ayudante en el parqueadero, aunque en esta posici\u00f3n solo estuvo dos meses ya que cuando se abri\u00f3 un puesto en mantenimiento, empez\u00f3 en esta actividad. Carlos declara que en Bristol se siente valorado, algo que no ocurre en su pa\u00eds, a pesar de toda su formaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica. En estos momentos se siente en su hogar, realmente no tiene grandes apegos, aunque echa de menos el clima y la comida de su querid\u00edsima M\u00e1laga y a su gente. \u00c9l no ha sentido el impacto del Brexit.\u00a0Seg\u00fan Carlos, \u201cel imperio brit\u00e1nico es inteligente y no cerrar\u00e1 la puerta a los europeos que realizan muchos de sus trabajos\u201d.
