sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>tillero cuenta actualmente con una plantilla de unos 700 trabajadores.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de que existe un plan de mantenimiento del empleo en el astillero, no se consult\u00f3 a Unite sobre los despidos y no se le inform\u00f3 sobre la justificaci\u00f3n comercial de la decisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los trabajadores fueron informados por la direcci\u00f3n de que las destituciones forman parte de una reestructuraci\u00f3n de la empresa, que tendr\u00e1 como objetivo el empleo permanente, y que en el futuro el astillero funcionar\u00e1 con un alto grado de mano de obra temporal.<\/p>\n<p>Si la decisi\u00f3n de realizar los despidos se debe a una disminuci\u00f3n temporal del trabajo como resultado de la pandemia, Unite argumentar\u00e1 que Cammell Laird deber\u00eda despedir a los trabajadores, mientras se buscan \u00f3rdenes, para evitar la p\u00e9rdida de puestos de trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>El responsable regional de Unite, Ross Quinn, dijo: \u201cEste impactante anuncio es totalmente inaceptable y es muy decepcionante que la direcci\u00f3n de Cammell Laird ataque a los trabajadores que se pusieron en riesgo y siguieron trabajando
