Las Jornadas de Junio en Par\u00eds proclamaron el sufragio universal.<\/p>\n<p>Hab\u00eda una nueva clase reci\u00e9n llegada, el proletariado, que inaugur\u00f3 una nueva era: la lucha de clases.<br \/>\nNo hay l\u00edderes conocidos de las Jornadas de Junio.<\/p>\n<p>La revoluci\u00f3n vino de abajo y su inspirador esp\u00edritu anarquista se recrea de manera emocionante y \u00fanica en la novela de Sylvia Townsend: <em>\u201cSummer will show\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Sophia Willoughby es una mujer adinerada, obediente, aunque tratada injustamente, cuyo marido mujeriego, Frederick, descuida a su familia por un romance con una mujer francesa, Minna Lemuel.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de la tr\u00e1gica muerte de sus dos hijos a causa de la viruela, Sophia viaja a Par\u00eds para intentar recuperar los pedazos de su vida de manos de su infiel marido.<br \/>\nEn Par\u00eds, en medio del tumulto de la revoluci\u00f3n de 1848, conoce a Minna, una jud\u00eda bohemia que vive a duras penas como narradora profesional.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tucuentavip.com\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-208732 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/tucuentavip.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Sylvia-Yownsend-Book-cover-e1618828813700.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"629\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Sylvia-Yownsend-Book-cover-e1618828813700.jpg 440w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Sylvia-Yownsend-Book-cover-e1618828813700-140x200.jpg 140w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Sylvia-Yownsend-Book-cover-e1618828813700-38x55.jpg 38w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px\" \/><\/strong><\/a>Sophia ha heredado un antisemitismo casual, un aspecto de su cultura y clase que la separa de Minna.<\/p>\n<p>Pero escucharla hablar de un pogromo vivido de ni\u00f1a se convierte en un momento transformador para la altiva mujer inglesa: \u201cDesde el momento en que o\u00ed tu voz, pens\u00f3\u2026 he estado bajo un hechizo extraordinario; me he precipitado, inquieta, desconcertada y decidida, de una locura a otra\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Las Jornadas de Junio no son un mero trasfondo de la novela; son su esencia.<br \/>\nLa vida de Sophia es derrocada emocional y pol\u00edticamente por una artista revolucionaria, y los acontecimientos se desarrollan con estilo y humor.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando la historia del pogromo de Minna llega a su fin en el momento en que el conserje dice: \u201cDisc\u00falpenme, damas y caballeros, pero la gente en la calle reclama los carros para sus barricadas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Minna deber\u00eda de ser la rival de Sophia en un matrimonio da\u00f1ado, pero mezclando lo homoer\u00f3tico con lo pol\u00edtico, se convierte sin embargo en su confidente y camarada.<\/p>\n<p>La reorientaci\u00f3n de los valores de Sophia es gradual pero profunda para una mujer para la que la revoluci\u00f3n hab\u00eda significado \u2018agitaci\u00f3n y despu\u00e9s gente que est\u00e1 peor que antes\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Sus experiencias con Minna y con otros la introducen a otro modo de existencia: \u201cEs como si estuviera escuchando m\u00fasica, capaz de sentir y seguir el funcionamiento de otro mundo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Las revoluciones de 1848 fueron reprimidas violentamente y la novela reconoce la realidad de la derrota.
