En su lugar, hay que hacer lecturas dial\u00e9cticas, de la historia y sus im\u00e1genes, aceptando la inseparabilidad del ahora con el <em>entonces<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>El t\u00edtulo,\u00a0 \u201c<em>Paper graveyards<\/em>\u201d \u00a0<em>(Cementerios de papel)<\/em>, se refiere no s\u00f3lo a la impermanencia del papel, sino al modo en que las marcas inscritas en \u00e9l remiten a un sujeto ausente; como el lenguaje, el papel es \u00abuna fuerza de desposesi\u00f3n y muerte\u00bb. Una fotograf\u00eda es un papel inscrito con una imagen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-252842 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/tucuentavip.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/book-cover-132x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"322\" height=\"488\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/book-cover-132x200.jpg 132w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/book-cover-36x55.jpg 36w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/book-cover.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 322px) 100vw, 322px\" \/>Los primeros ensayos del libro se centran en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wikiart.org\/en\/nadar\">Nadar<\/a>, el fot\u00f3grafo franc\u00e9s del siglo XIX, antes de pasar a una foto de una biblioteca londinense que hab\u00eda sido bombardeada por la Luftwaffe el d\u00eda del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catalannews.com\/culture\/item\/80-years-on-walter-benjamin-s-death-in-catalonia-while-fleeing-gestapo\">suicidio de Benjamin<\/a>, en octubre de 1940.<\/p>\n<p>La capacidad de descontextualizaci\u00f3n de la imagen reside en la forma en que resuena la quema de libros por parte de los nazis, el valor perdurable de los libros y la capacidad de resistencia de los civiles cuando se enfrentan al desastre. La imagen es un acontecimiento p\u00f3stumo, ya que el tiempo s\u00f3lo establece sus momentos cuando se dejan atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Toda imagen, escribe Cadava, es una ruina por la forma en que interrumpe y borra el tiempo, \u00abun momento de alteraci\u00f3n\u00bb, \u00abuna herida\u00bb que da testimonio \u00abde un tiempo cuya historia es siempre una historia de ruinas\u00bb.
