Aus der Mappe der Hundigkeit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>Sean Sheehan<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Las calles, tal y como las conocemos, llegaron con la industrializaci\u00f3n, convirti\u00e9ndose en un espacio p\u00fablico vital y, a principios del siglo XX, la vida en la calle era objeto de formas de arte antiguas y nuevas: no s\u00f3lo pintura, sino tambi\u00e9n fotograf\u00eda y cine.<\/p>\n<p>Lo p\u00fablico y lo privado coexistieron en las calles de las ciudades, una simbiosis peculiar que hizo de la calle el lugar de actividades tan diferentes como ir de compras y protestar, pero tambi\u00e9n un lugar privado para el paseante contemplativo; un escenario p\u00fablico y un retiro privado.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Street life<\/em>\u201d <em>(<\/em><em>Vida en la calle)<\/em> hace un seguimiento de las diversas formas en que los artistas han abordado la importancia de la calle en la sociedad moderna. NY<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Los fot\u00f3grafos empezaron a leer con soltura los paisajes callejeros, congelando el movimiento en el encuadre -un tipo parad\u00f3jico de naturaleza muerta- y el retrato abandon\u00f3 el entorno formal del estudio del pintor para realizarse mediante la captura moment\u00e1nea de la postura y el rostro de una persona.<\/p>\n<p>Estos momentos son tan anodinos, escribe uno de los ensayistas, \u00abque s\u00f3lo la propia imagen los hace atractivos\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>El enfoque hist\u00f3rico contin\u00faa en una parte posterior del libro y ampl\u00eda la genealog\u00eda de la fotograf\u00eda de calle para incluir un embeleso emergente con la naturaleza construida de calles y carreteras, su tejido, mobiliario y arquitectura.<\/p>\n<p>El culto al autom\u00f3vil desplaz\u00f3 el eje de la fotograf\u00eda de calle, ya que los aparcamientos, las gasolineras y los intercambiadores pasaron a ser objeto de inter\u00e9s. La presencia visual de los veh\u00edculos en la vida cotidiana y cultural supuso el adi\u00f3s a la calle como espacio predominantemente social.
