Aunque a\u00fan hay candidaturas en suspenso, como la del movimiento Revoluci\u00f3n Ciudadana (RC), la estrategia de ese colectivo est\u00e1 en intentar ganar la Presidencia de la Rep\u00fablica de Ecuador el 20 de agosto, es decir, sin necesidad de medir fuerzas en una segunda vuelta.<\/em><\/p>\n

La organizaci\u00f3n, liderada por el expresidente Rafael Correa, tiene un respaldo popular demostrado recientemente en los comicios provinciales y municipales efectuados el pasado 5 de febrero, donde sus cuadros ganaron las prefecturas y alcald\u00edas m\u00e1s importantes del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

En ese contexto, muchos se preguntan si ese apoyo ser\u00e1 suficiente para triunfar y alcanzar el porcentaje requerido en el primer turno.<\/p>\n

Aun cuando no se sab\u00eda qui\u00e9n ser\u00eda el binomio que representar\u00eda a la RC los analistas aseguraban que es la fuerza pol\u00edtica con mayores posibilidades a nivel nacional.<\/p>\n

Ahora que se inscribieron Gonz\u00e1lez y su compa\u00f1ero de f\u00f3rmula Andr\u00e9s Arauz, los pron\u00f3sticos no var\u00edan mucho, aunque lo dif\u00edcil -seg\u00fan advierten- es ganar en la primera vuelta.<\/p>\n

Para eso es necesario que un candidato obtenga m\u00e1s del 50% de los votos o al menos el 40% y 10 puntos por encima del segundo aspirante.<\/p>\n

\"\"En las elecciones anteriores Arauz, que ahora va como vicepresidente de Gonz\u00e1lez, alcanz\u00f3 el mayor n\u00famero de preferencias en el primer turno, y luego perdi\u00f3 en el balotaje, porque en su contra se uni\u00f3 todo el espectro pol\u00edtico, de derecha, centroderecha e incluso de centroizquierda.<\/p>\n

Ese es el \u201cfactor de riesgo\u00bb para el corre\u00edsmo <\/em>(partidarios de Correa), se\u00f1al\u00f3 el soci\u00f3logo Decio Machado, en tanto la polit\u00f3loga Grace Jim\u00e9nez coincidi\u00f3 en el programa Hablando Claro<\/em>, transmitido en redes sociales, en que lo m\u00e1s complicado para la RC es triunfar en un eventual segundo turno por las razones antes mencionadas y porque cuentan con una candidata poco conocida.<\/p>\n

Deber\u00e1n darle a la ciudadan\u00eda certezas y propuestas aterrizadas para convencer al electorado de votar por ella, aunque no es Correa, apunt\u00f3 la experta.<\/p>\n

\"\"Por esa raz\u00f3n, Gonz\u00e1lez enfatiza en cada entrevista o declaraci\u00f3n que la RC ya dio mejores d\u00edas al pa\u00eds y sabe c\u00f3mo volver a hacerlo.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades que resulten electas el 20 agosto cumplir\u00e1n funciones presidenciales y legislativas hasta mayo de 2025. En el caso de haber una segunda vuelta electoral, se realizar\u00eda el 15 de octubre. PL<\/p>\n
