Con un c\u00famulo de pruebas cotejadas, la Polic\u00eda Federal (PF) acusa al expresidente de Brasil, Jair Bolsonaro en la indagaci\u00f3n sobre una supuesta red de negociaci\u00f3n ilegal de joyas, dadas por autoridades extranjeras durante su mandato (2019-2022). Adem\u00e1s del pol\u00edtico ultraderechista, otras 11 personas son inculpadas en el caso, entre ellas su ex ayudante de \u00f3rdenes, teniente coronel Mauro Cid, y el exsecretario de Comunicaci\u00f3n de la Presidencia Fabio Wajngarten.<\/p>\n

Bolsonaro fue imputado en tres delitos: organizaci\u00f3n criminal (con penas de uno a tres a\u00f1os de reclusi\u00f3n), lavado de dinero (de tres a 10 a\u00f1os) y peculado (apropiaci\u00f3n de bien p\u00fablico), con correctivo de dos a 12 a\u00f1os de reclusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Para la PF, el exmandatario malvers\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 1,2 millones de d\u00f3lares en regalos recibidos cuando estaba en el poder.<\/p>\n

Tal conclusi\u00f3n consta en el informe de la pesquisa que descubri\u00f3 la existencia de una asociaci\u00f3n criminal, cuyo objetivo ser\u00eda espec\u00edficamente descarriar y vender objetos de valor (esculturas, joyas y relojes) recibidos por el exgobernante como presente oficial.<\/p>\n

\u201cSe identific\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que los valores de esas ventas pasaban por conversi\u00f3n para dinero en efectivo e ingresaban en el patrimonio personal del expresidente de la Rep\u00fablica\u201d, refiere el informe policial.<\/p>\n

\"\"Detalla que las operaciones se hac\u00edan por medio de personas interpuestas y sin utilizar el sistema bancario formal, \u201ccon el objetivo de ocultar el origen ubicaci\u00f3n y propiedad de los valores\u201d.<\/p>\n

La b\u00fasqueda se abri\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de salir a la luz, en marzo de 2023, intentos del gobierno de Bolsonaro de rescatar alhajas que acabaron retenidas en la Receita Federal (\u00f3rgano regente de tributos y control aduanero), en el aeropuerto internacional de Guarulhos, en Sao Paulo.<\/p>\n

Ante tal situaci\u00f3n, el anterior Ejecutivo activ\u00f3 al menos 15 funcionarios para intentar liberar esas piezas.<\/p>\n

Orquestada por el entonces secretario general de la Receita Federal, J\u00falio C\u00e9sar Vieira, la operaci\u00f3n para recuperar los objetos se realiz\u00f3 en los d\u00edas finales del mandato de Bolsonaro, que termin\u00f3 el 31 de diciembre de 2022. Remitido al Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), el informe de la PF revela que, en aproximadamente dos semanas, se movilizaron siete ocupantes de altos cargos del ministerio de Hacienda, cuatro ayudantes de \u00f3rdenes de la Presidencia, tres integrantes del Gabinete Adjunto de Documentaci\u00f3n Hist\u00f3rica de la Presidencia y un funcionario de la Secretar\u00eda General de la Presidencia.<\/p>\n

\"\"Todos ellos empe\u00f1ados en hacer llegar al exjefe de Estado las joyas obsequiadas en sus viajes al exterior, pero retenidos en la aduana.<\/p>\n

Vieira orden\u00f3 en un momento dado a un subordinado: \u201cExpulsa a todo el mundo para trabajar para nosotros de forma que la gente consiga cumplir eso de ah\u00ed y disponga eso ma\u00f1ana a las cinco de la tarde\u201d.<\/p>\n

Unido con Bolsonaro y los otros 10 adeptos, Vieira fue acusado \u201cpor el intento de desv\u00edo del conjunto de joyas femeninas confeccionadas en oro blanco, compuesto por un collar, un par de pendientes, un anillo y un reloj de pulsera de la marca Chopard y una escultura de un caballo dorado\u201d.<\/p>\n

Las piezas las regalaron autoridades de Arabia Saudita al entonces ministro de Minas y Energ\u00eda Bento Albuquerque que represent\u00f3 a Bolsonaro en el viaje a ese pa\u00eds en octubre de 2021.<\/p>\n

Para los investigadores, hubo una operaci\u00f3n \u201chasta cierto punto desesperada, para intentar sustraer las joyas femeninas retenidas por la Receita Federal, en tiempo h\u00e1bil a despacharlas en el avi\u00f3n presidencial, que despegar\u00eda el 30 de diciembre de 2022, con destino a Estados Unidos\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"\"Los peritos policiales sospechan que toda esa articulaci\u00f3n para liberar las joyas de la aduana antes del viaje de Bolsonaro en vuelo presidencial ten\u00eda un prop\u00f3sito: venderlas en el pa\u00eds norte\u00f1o junto con otros regalos de alto valor recibidos por el exparacaidista.<\/p>\n

Pese a que en c\u00edrculos pol\u00edticos y judiciales se espera una inmediata decisi\u00f3n sobre el caso, la Procuradur\u00eda General de la Rep\u00fablica eval\u00faa la posibilidad de reunir todas las acciones realizadas por la PF contra Bolsonaro en una \u00fanica denuncia a ser presentada al STF, seg\u00fan un reciente reportaje de la estaci\u00f3n televisiva CNN Brasil. Por el momento, Bolsonaro enfrenta acusaciones de fraude en la tarjeta de vacunaci\u00f3n antiCovid-19, investigaci\u00f3n que todav\u00eda est\u00e1 en curso de tr\u00e1mites complementarios, y m\u00e1s recientemente por un caso del robo de joyas de la Presidencia.<\/p>\n

De igual manera, est\u00e1 en marcha la elaboraci\u00f3n de un informe por la PF sobre la presunta participaci\u00f3n del expresidente en el intento de golpe de Estado del 8 de enero de 2023, en Brasilia. PL<\/p>\n
