El propio \u017di\u017eek plantea esta cuesti\u00f3n &#8211; \u00ab\u00bfmerece la pena siquiera dedicar tiempo a la religi\u00f3n, azotando un caballo muerto?\u00bb- y la responde afirmando el valor duradero del ate\u00edsmo cristiano como fundamento de un cambio material efectivo: \u00abel sujeto ateo se compromete en un proyecto (pol\u00edtico, art\u00edstico, etc.), \u00abcree\u00bb en \u00e9l, sin ninguna garant\u00eda\u00bb. Es m\u00e1s eficaz desarmar la religi\u00f3n min\u00e1ndola desde dentro, extrayendo su valor ateo para eliminar la noci\u00f3n de divinidad.
