El censo de 2017 verific\u00f3 que 25% de los peruanos se definen como \u201cind\u00edgenas\u201d, porcentaje que podr\u00eda reducirse por los t\u00e9rminos de la encuesta que impugnan los originarios.<\/p>\n<p>El resultado puede tambi\u00e9n, seg\u00fan los dirigentes, afectar la intangibilidad de los territorios nativos, codiciados por intereses empresariales locales y extranjeros y la obligatoriedad de la consulta previa a los ind\u00edgenas sobre proyectos econ\u00f3micos en esas tierras.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-208100\" src=\"https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pandemia-peru-campesino-trabajo-pobre-Pixabay.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"463\" height=\"260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pandemia-peru-campesino-trabajo-pobre-Pixabay.jpg 768w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pandemia-peru-campesino-trabajo-pobre-Pixabay-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pandemia-peru-campesino-trabajo-pobre-Pixabay-98x55.jpg 98w, https:\/\/theprisma.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pandemia-peru-campesino-trabajo-pobre-Pixabay-650x365.jpg 650w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 463px) 100vw, 463px\" \/>Seg\u00fan los denunciantes, los conceptos de <em>autoidentificaci\u00f3n racial<\/em> no fueron recomendados por la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cepal.org\/\">Comisi\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mica para America Latina (Cepal<\/a>), pero el INEI no prest\u00f3 atenci\u00f3n a la recomendaci\u00f3n debido a presiones empresariales y de sectores conservadores antiderechos.<\/p>\n<p>En Per\u00fa, los censos se realizan cada 10 a\u00f1os. El \u00faltimo fue en 2017 y el pr\u00f3ximo estaba previsto para 2027, pero el Gobierno lo adelant\u00f3 con el argumento de que el pa\u00eds hab\u00eda cambiado mucho debido a la pandemia del Covid-19, iniciada en 2019. La presidenta de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onamiap.org\/\">Onamiap<\/a>, Ketty Marcelo, cuestion\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n y argument\u00f3 que no existen condiciones de transparencia para que el censo se realice en el segundo semestre de 2025.
