Se fue el Gran Jos\u00e9 \u2018PEPE MUJICA\u2019. S\u00ed, as\u00ed, en may\u00fasculas. Esta columna la escribo con un profundo pesar por la partida de un <\/em>revolucionario<\/em><\/a>, de un pol\u00edtico que supo honrar el ejercicio del poder. <\/em><\/p>\n

De un hombre que vivi\u00f3 casi que, como un monje cartujo, \u201cligero de equipaje\u201d, sin las ambiciones propias de aquellos que asumieron la pol\u00edtica y el poder como los caminos para acumular riqueza en medio de sus inocultables precariedades \u00e9ticas y morales.<\/p>\n

Aquellos que buscan \u201chacer dos C\u00e1maras y dos Senados<\/em><\/a>\u201d para luego huir a gozar de la riqueza en una playa paradisiaca.<\/p>\n

Contaba que se re\u00eda cuando le dec\u00edan marxista. Y contestaba: \u201cNo soy marxista, soy estoico, liviano de equipaje, nada en demas\u00eda\u201d<\/em>. Por el cari\u00f1o que profes\u00f3 por Colombia, resulta inevitable involucrar en este sentido homenaje y despedida al Gran Pepe, a los pol\u00edticos locales convertidos en las ant\u00edpodas de la vida que llev\u00f3 el expresidente uruguayo.<\/p>\n

Mujica<\/a> se visti\u00f3 de guerrillero para levantarse en armas contra el Estado uruguayo y termin\u00f3 convertido en un referente \u00e9tico para sus compatriotas y los pueblos de la Am\u00e9rica Latina que hoy lloran su inevitable partida. Guiado por los Aymaras, acept\u00f3 las reglas de la democracia y desde la Residencia de Su\u00e1rez intent\u00f3 profundizar la democracia en su peque\u00f1a pero digna Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n

En Colombia hay pol\u00edticos<\/a> que alardean de llevar una vida ejemplar porque \u201cjam\u00e1s empu\u00f1aron armas contra el Estado<\/em>\u201d. Son ya incontables las veces, en lo que va corrido de este gobierno, que le hemos escuchado decir esa frase a aquellos que desde el Ejecutivo y el Legislativo \u201cle declararon la guerra\u201d a los pobres, a los vulnerables, a los pueblos afros, ind\u00edgenas y campesinos y a la Naturaleza<\/a> con sus pol\u00edticas atadas al neoliberalismo.<\/p>\n

Esa frase da cuenta de un viaje moral y clasista de quienes jam\u00e1s entendieron qu\u00e9 es eso de construir y vivir en una Rep\u00fablica. La avaricia los fue convirtiendo en victimarios y sepultureros de los sempiternos deseos de millones de colombianos de construir alg\u00fan d\u00eda una verdadera democracia en Colombia.<\/p>\n

Aconsej\u00f3 y critic\u00f3 a Ch\u00e1vez y al propio Lula Da Silva.\u00a0 En una<\/p>\n

memorable entrevista<\/a> dijo: \u201cRescatar 40 millones de la pobreza como le pas\u00f3 a Lula y no ser\u00e1 tocar el cielo con las manos, ni mucho menos construir el socialismo. Pero esos cuarenta que comen todos los d\u00edas, esos cuarenta millones, es una cosa muy de izquierda. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Porqu\u00e9 ser de izquierda es ser solidario\u2026Despu\u00e9s hay otra etapa. Yo creo en el socialismo, pero no creo en el estatismo. Y creo que la construcci\u00f3n del socialismo supone una sociedad mucho m\u00e1s culta, mucho m\u00e1s inteligente y mucho m\u00e1s rica. Creo que pa\u00edses como Suecia se arrimaron mucho m\u00e1s a lo que puede ser el socialismo, o Noruega, que los intentos fallidos que hemos tenido\u2026Soy enemigo de la burocracia\u2026Desconf\u00edo cuando el Estado se hace demasiado grande, pueda sustituir la iniciativa de la gente\u2026 Cuando pase Ch\u00e1vez, habr\u00e1 un mont\u00f3n de millones de venezolanos que viv\u00edan en la miseria que van a estar viviendo un poco mejor, que van a tener una casa mejor y un servicio de salud, pero no habr\u00e1n construido ning\u00fan socialismo, pero la humanidad habr\u00e1 mejorado\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/em>Sin apegos a las veleidades del poder e incapaz de caer y ser protagonista de la \u201choguera de las vanidades\u201d de las que hicieron parte un n\u00famero importante de presidentes latinoamericanos, Mujica es el espejo en el que jam\u00e1s pudieron mirarse jefes de Estado colombianos como Juan Manuel Santos, Iv\u00e1n Duque M\u00e1rquez, C\u00e9sar Gaviria, Julio C\u00e9sar Turbay Ayala y mucho menos el m\u00e1s pernicioso- casi mal\u00e9fico- de todos los presidentes colombianos: \u00c1lvaro Uribe V\u00e9lez. Y no es que sufran del s\u00edndrome Capgras. No. A ellos les basta con reflejarse en las perfidias en las que incurrieron y en las formas c\u00ednicas en las que ejercieron el poder, porque como lo dijo Mujica, el poder te enciende todos los demonios.<\/em><\/p>\n

Se fue el Gran Pepe, pero quedaron en este hemisferio y en el resto del mundo los demonios del fascismo, del genocidio, de la supremac\u00eda \u00e9tnica como pr\u00e1ctica sociocultural y pol\u00edtica en pa\u00edses racistas y clasistas como Colombia.<\/p>\n

Quiz\u00e1s si en Colombia tuvi\u00e9ramos por lo menos 5 Pepes<\/em> en la Corte Constitucional, en el Consejo de Estado, en la Corte Suprema de Justicia; en el Congreso, en las rector\u00edas de universidades privadas y p\u00fablicas, podr\u00edamos superar las taras civilizatorias de esa \u00e9lite que siempre mirar\u00e1 con desprecio a estoicos como Pepe Mujica<\/a>. Hasta siempre, Pepe.<\/p>\n

Adenda 1: antes del deceso de Pepe Mujica el diario El Espectador public\u00f3 en la red X la entrada de una nota que dice lo siguiente: \u201cEl domingo, el presidente uruguayo Yamand\u00fa Orsi, delf\u00edn de Mujica, pidi\u00f3 que respetaran la intimidad del exguerrillero<\/em>\u201d. Aunque borraron el trino, el diario bogotano se instal\u00f3 en ese viaje de superioridad moral que acompa\u00f1a a quienes se jactan a\u00fan de \u201cjam\u00e1s haber empu\u00f1ado las armas contra el Estado\u201d y que son los responsables de generar pobreza, del asesinato de 6402 j\u00f3venes (falsos positivos) y la consolidaci\u00f3n de un Estado asesino.<\/p>\n
