Como mujer nacida y criada en Ir\u00e1n siempre sent\u00ed que no pod\u00eda ser yo misma. Anhelaba un lugar donde pudiera vivir y trabajar libremente, sin juicios ni restricciones. No ten\u00eda pensado mudarme a un pa\u00eds concreto, pero sab\u00eda que ten\u00eda que haber alg\u00fan lugar donde pudiera vivir como mujer con libertad y seguridad.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00bfHubo alg\u00fan momento en el que \u00a0se dio\u00a0 cuenta de que la libertad de expresi\u00f3n y la libertad personal eran esenciales para usted?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cuando era m\u00e1s joven, no ten\u00eda una idea clara de lo que era la libertad de expresi\u00f3n, solo sab\u00eda que estaba harta de la desigualdad de g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n

A medida que fui creciendo, me di cuenta de que la libertad no solo ten\u00eda que ver con poder expresarse, sino con la forma en que vivimos.<\/p>\n

Extremadamente dif\u00edciles. Estaba sola, sin familia ni apoyo, y tuve que reconstruir mi vida desde cero: aprender un nuevo idioma, hacer amigos, encontrar mi camino en una nueva sociedad. La soledad y la adaptaci\u00f3n cultural fueron un reto, pero hab\u00eda decidido no volver, as\u00ed que afront\u00e9 todas las dificultades hasta que finalmente encontr\u00e9 mi propio camino.<\/p>\n

Usted ha dicho que emigr\u00f3 en busca de \u00abla forma m\u00e1s libre de expresi\u00f3n art\u00edstica\u00bb. \u00bfExiste la libertad total?<\/strong><\/p>\n

La libertad es principalmente un estado mental. Muchos artistas en sociedades libres siguen luchando contra limitaciones internas. En Europa tengo total libertad creativa, pero las reacciones del p\u00fablico var\u00edan. A veces, incluso los europeos encuentran mis pinturas demasiado oscuras o intensas. Por lo tanto, la libertad total no existe, siempre es relativa.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00bfCambi\u00f3 su estilo art\u00edstico despu\u00e9s de emigrar?<\/strong><\/p>\n

En Ir\u00e1n, aunque estudi\u00e9 arte, no ten\u00eda un estilo definido.<\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de emigrar, me inspir\u00e9 en Picasso y empec\u00e9 con el cubismo, pero poco a poco encontr\u00e9 el valor para adentrarme en el mundo surrealista, que se convirti\u00f3 en mi principal forma de expresi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u00bfLe dio la emigraci\u00f3n la libertad de expresar experiencias que no pod\u00eda expresar en Ir\u00e1n?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Por supuesto. Vivir en un pa\u00eds libre me ayud\u00f3 a comprenderme a m\u00ed misma y a mi arte. Sin la emigraci\u00f3n, quiz\u00e1 nunca me habr\u00eda dedicado a la pintura en serio. La libertad y el respeto por la individualidad me permitieron retratar con honestidad en mi obra las experiencias dolorosas, tanto las m\u00edas como las de otras mujeres.<\/p>\n

\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 se diferencia la percepci\u00f3n de su obra por parte del p\u00fablico occidental y el iran\u00ed?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Los iran\u00edes suelen fijarse primero en la desnudez de las figuras femeninas, porque en su cultura el cuerpo femenino es tab\u00fa. Los europeos tienden a percibir el mensaje emocional o humano antes que el f\u00edsico. Esa es la principal diferencia entre sus perspectivas.<\/p>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo enfrenta la censura y el juicio social?<\/strong><\/p>\n

La censura siempre ha existido y me ha afectado profundamente, pero nunca me ha detenido. Incluso cuando mis p\u00e1ginas en las redes sociales fueron cerradas varias veces, nunca me rend\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Nunca he intentado preservar una identidad \u00abnacional\u00bb; lo que me importa es expresar la experiencia de ser mujer en una sociedad represiva. Sin embargo, como estudi\u00e9 dise\u00f1o de alfombras, a menudo utilizo en mis pinturas colores y motivos inspirados en las alfombras persas. En ese sentido, en mi obra quedan huellas del arte iran\u00ed.<\/p>\n

El tema de la violencia de g\u00e9nero aparece a menudo en sus pinturas. \u00bfDe d\u00f3nde viene?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Viene de mi propio dolor y del dolor colectivo de las mujeres del\u00a0 mundo. Estas experiencias nos unen, sin importar d\u00f3nde hayamos nacido. A veces, ese sufrimiento puede llevar a una mujer al l\u00edmite de la existencia. El arte fue lo que me salv\u00f3.<\/p>\n

S\u00ed, pero no hasta el punto de que influya en mi trabajo. Hago lo que creo que es correcto. Puede que no acepte todas las cr\u00edticas, pero siempre sigo con mi trabajo. Las opiniones negativas no pueden cambiar mi trayectoria art\u00edstica.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/strong>La migraci\u00f3n ofrece un espacio para la reflexi\u00f3n y la expresi\u00f3n sin miedo. Permite a los artistas pensar libremente y profundizar en sus ideas. Puede que hubiera pintado, pero no habr\u00eda sido artista. Para m\u00ed, el verdadero arte requiere libertad, y solo la encontr\u00e9 fuera de Ir\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00bfCombina las culturas iran\u00ed y europea en tu obra?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No en un sentido cultural. Lo que combino es la doble vida de una mujer que ha vivido tanto en Ir\u00e1n como en el mundo libre. Mi arte refleja esta coexistencia de dos realidades vividas.<\/p>\n

\u00bfAparecen en su obra los sentimientos de exilio y nostalgia?<\/strong><\/p>\n

S\u00ed. La migraci\u00f3n, el exilio y la nostalgia pueden servir como herramientas para expresar una obra de arte. Me he inspirado en estas emociones en mis obras y he podido crear piezas que reflejan la soledad, el distanciamiento o incluso la lejan\u00eda de mi patria.<\/p>\n

\u00bfSiente que vive entre dos hogares, uno f\u00edsico y otro mental?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quiz\u00e1s. En mis sue\u00f1os, a menudo siento que he vivido dos vidas: una pasada y otra presente. Esta dualidad aparece en mis pinturas, muchas de las cuales contienen tanto un \u00abantes\u00bb como un \u00abahora\u00bb.<\/p>\n
