Es una pel\u00edcula que hay que ver como sea. Es la escenificaci\u00f3n contempor\u00e1nea de un calvario montado y patrocinado por la moderna Roma, con sucursal en Tel Aviv y cualquier lugar del globo donde vivir un poco es morir casi siempre.<\/p>\n

Un calvario con palestinos a modo de pastorcillos e israel\u00edes como pretorianos de la antigua Roma con Herodes y sus asesores.<\/p>\n

Un calvario que en ‘Amreeka’<\/em> empieza precisamente en Bel\u00e9n, comienzo de todo, desde donde se divisa el maravilloso muro que los israel\u00edes han construido para evitar \u201cel paso de terroristas\u201d.
\nMuna (Alia Shawkat, oasis para la felicidad) vive all\u00ed y no es terrorista ni nada que se le parezca.<\/p>\n

Su \u00fanica preocupaci\u00f3n es conseguir buenos tomates para la cena. Harta de los controles siniestros que los israel\u00edes han rehabilitado para hacer a\u00fan m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil la respiraci\u00f3n de los palestinos, decide marcharse a Estados Unidos con su hermana.<\/p>\n

Quiere poner a salvo a su hijo, pero al llegar al pa\u00eds de todas las oportunidades se da cuenta de que siguen siendo palestinos, eternos sospechosos de todos los terrorismos del mundo. Muna recorre su particular calvario entre el trabajo en una hamburgueser\u00eda que en su imaginaci\u00f3n, y para los m\u00e1s \u00edntimos se transforma en banco (\u201ctengo tres licencias y hablo dos lenguas y media\u201d), y una voluntad de sobrevivir que puede con todo.<\/p>\n

En esta pel\u00edcula, cuya banda musical es maravillosa, Alia Shawkat es una mujer regordeta que se pasea por la pantalla, la ocupa, la piratea y te conquista. Es la mujer, espl\u00e9ndida, vital e idealista, que no tiene m\u00e1s verdad que la vida. Ella terminar\u00e1 rubricando su propia pel\u00edcula cuando a los noventa minutos de proyecci\u00f3n re\u00fane en un restaurante de los alrededores de Chicago a toda la gente que ella quiere. Y que la quieren.<\/p>\n

Lejos de Oriente Medio, en esta \u00faltima cena de los inocentes no hay ning\u00fan Judas. Un nuevo Jes\u00fas jud\u00edo, amable y sonriente, la preside como garant\u00eda de una felicidad cercana que los dos refugiados palestinos podr\u00edan alcanzar alg\u00fan d\u00eda. Si tienen suerte, claro.<\/p>\n
