Echa de menos su pa\u00eds, aun as\u00ed es feliz de estar donde est\u00e1 hoy. Se mud\u00f3 a Londres hace <\/em>veinte a\u00f1os, despu\u00e9s de vivir en Pereira, Colombia. Siendo muy joven, se march\u00f3 con su hermano mayor y su madre para vivir con su t\u00eda.<\/em><\/p>\n

Normalmente una persona comienza a formar su grupo de amigos y su vida social a los 15. Desgraciadamente, para German fue dif\u00edcil entablar alg\u00fan tipo de vida social, porque la mayor parte de su tiempo lo dedic\u00f3 a intentar aprender ingl\u00e9s con el fin de entender mejor la cultura inglesa.<\/p>\n

Su familia se march\u00f3 en busca de m\u00e1s oportunidades de trabajo con mejor sueldo, adem\u00e1s de un cambio de aires. Por aquel entonces, dec\u00eda que a su pa\u00eds no le iba bien y Londres parec\u00eda la opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s viable.\u00a0Su experiencia ha sido en general positiva y que se ha adaptado bastante bien a su nueva vida: estudi\u00f3 aqu\u00ed y ahora tiene un empleo y un bonito sitio donde vivir. Incluso ahora considera a Londres su casa, lo cual es dif\u00edcil de decir para muchos inmigrantes sin importar cu\u00e1nto lleven viviendo aqu\u00ed.<\/p>\n

\"\"German dice que regresa a Colombia cada Diciembre para reencontrarse con su familia y que es maravilloso estar all\u00ed rodeado por la gente a la que quieres.<\/p>\n

Explica que echa de menos todo sobre su Colombia, incluyendo el clima, la comida, la gente, y todas las cosas que sol\u00eda hacer de joven. No obstante, esto no es de extra\u00f1ar, porque ha estado siempre muy apegado a todos los miembros de su familia.<\/p>\n

Le encanta su empleo actual, en el que trabaja con carros, los recoge, asegur\u00e1ndose que funcionan correctamente.<\/p>\n

Le llev\u00f3 un tiempo estar donde quer\u00eda estar, pero dice que hasta ahora no tiene quejas sobre su vida y s\u00f3lo quiere disfrutarla al m\u00e1ximo.\u00a0German afirma que como seres humanos, nos adaptamos de forma innata al entorno, as\u00ed que aunque el idioma fue un problema cuando se mud\u00f3 por primera vez a Londres, no lo fue lo suficiente como para dejar una huella imborrable en su capacidad para trabajar y vivir la vida.<\/p>\n

\"\"Afirma que cualquier pa\u00eds es s\u00f3lo un pa\u00eds, as\u00ed que la experiencia que tengas depende de la situaci\u00f3n en cuesti\u00f3n y lo que t\u00fa hagas de ella.<\/p>\n
