These events expose an escalation of violence and coercion exerted by the United States on the region. Military interventions, threats against Latin American governments and the complicity of local authorities create a scenario of systematic abuse that feeds popular discontent and the will to resist.

Indeed, today in Latin America, rebellion is justified two weeks after the kidnapping – not “capture” – of the president of Venezuela by one of the most powerful and despicable states of our time.
Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, when they make it through this dark time, will be able to tell the world they knew the monster from within, and they passed through its insides. This experience, nevertheless, will always remain in the memory and the history of the people of our continent. It will be known in time as the moment in which barbarism knocked at America’s doors, galloping in on one of the seven horses of the Apocalypse. Donald Trump’s face will then stand out, drenched in blood and death. It will be possible to reconstruct history, and speak of the birth and the rebirth of fascism as two sides of the same coin: an Empire in decline.
Some analysts maintain that the actions ordered by the resident of the White House in the early hours of Saturday 3rd January reflects the strength of the United States government. A grave mistake.
It better reflects the desperation of the leaders of Washington as they confirm that the Empire is collapsing and that its end is near. However, above all, they can do nothing but play with fire, in the hope that those who confront them will fall into the trap, and then everything will go up in flames.
Their crisis is so serious that they have to attack oil tankers in the Caribbean to steal from them, and kidnap heads of state to extort their governments.
Donald Trump is not necessarily a fire fanatic, but he does like to watch things go up in smoke. Above all, he knows that his days at the peak of his power could be numbered. For the moment, he has 34 open court proceedings against him and he will inevitably have to work through them because the ability to buy justice also has a limit. One of the pending cases is specifically for the crime of fraud.
This crime has now brought him before the courts that have put coercive lawsuits against him: he must pay $500 million for having illegally enriched himself and built a house not of cards, but of ill-gotten dollar bills. If he does not do it, his business assets and personal goods will be seized.
In the United States, the rich accept that you can kill someone with a bullet, even a child in a school or a church, but they will not accept being robbed of even one cent. That is intolerable to them.
Meanwhile, Trump has even bigger scores to settle with the law His business partner and accomplice in high-flying swindling, Jeffery Epstein, did not go out of this world without leaving irrefutable evidence that compromises the namesake of the Disney character in more serious crimes, including paedophilia. Also, because of this, the stakes are so high. Because he wants to avoid all of that, he is trying to cover up major and minor larceny. He has thus turned into a Warlord, one of the most audacious and aggressive. Now he set his sights on anyone who disagrees with his perverse aims.
For the moment, he has declared war on his own country. He has sent Marines to California and other states, and has put in the firing line the migrants that he detests and those he is looking to kill, as demonstrated by the case of Renée Nicole Good in Minneapolis.
He has also pointed the finger at Cuba; a country he wants to “destroy.” He has not realised, though, that to achieve this goal he will have to kill 11 million heroes in the largest island of the Antilles, but also many other fighters in the rest of the world.
If he touches Cuba, American companies, properties, and even embassies in every country on earth will be subjected to the anger of the populace.
There is no place in the world where Cuba does not have friends. It has millions of them on every continent, and in them burns the light of rebellion in defence of the Island of Dignity.
Likewise, Colombia, Nicaragua, and Mexico are undoubtedly in the Empire’s sights. Brazil is too; because Trump has not hidden his intention to squash all those who think differently. Reminiscent of James Monroe, he also intends to annex Canada by force. If left unchecked, he will likewise devour Greenland, snatching the ice cap of the European Union. What is tragic is that all of this is compounded by subservient and servile Latin American governments, who admit that the actions against Venezuela constitute a severe violation. Yet, as the acting president of Peru, José Jerí, a man with experience in the matter, has maintained, there are cases which “can be violated.”
Faced with so much abuse and such infamy, citizens’ discontent is growing, peoples’ anger is worsening, and the will to fight of millions of people is increasing. That means, within the framework of this coven, rebellion is justified. PL
