In less than 48 hours, Aleppo became a different city, its streets filled with terrorists. Residents had two options: die by the hands of terrorists or submit to their radical ideology.

These terrorists are armed to the teeth. Many of them speak a different language as they are mercenaries from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, the Chinese Uyghur province, Turkey and other countries.
Aleppo, one of the world’s 10 most ancient cities and a World Heritage Site, after more than 13 years of resistance, succumbed to extremist terrorist groups overnight. The city’s two million inhabitants are today facing a real state of terror and panic. They don’t understand how their home fell into the hands of what they are calling “the new barbarians”. A few residents told Prensa Latina, via telephone about the daily nightmare they live. They feel like strangers in their own city.
One resident, on condition of anonymity for fear of retaliatory actions by radicals, says it is very difficult to feel alien and strange in the very city where he was born and grew up.
He explains that people do not dare leave their houses out of fear of the terrorists who shout sectarian and other anti-government chants in the street, and threaten employees and religious minorities.
Shocking images from Aleppo published by the armed forces themselves show a terrorist knocking down a Christmas tree in one of the Christian neighborhoods.
This is proof that they have no respect for other religions and absolutely no sense of tolerance. One local reported, “Christmas trees symbolize eternal life, light, hope, renewal and joy, all of which Aleppo enjoyed for many years, but these invaders hate any demonstration of a different kind of lifestyle, faith and belief.”
Another video shows extremists moving through the departments of Aleppo’s university hospital, interrogating the doctors and nurses on their religious practices and beliefs. There is still no clear explanation for the collapse of the Syrian army and its abandonment of the city, although some soldiers report to the press that they were forced to make a tactical retreat under the pressure of the attack of thousands of terrorists. We were forced to take this painful measure to prevent Aleppo becoming a war zone, leading to destruction and death, military personnel claimed.
It’s unlikely that Aleppians understand the concept of the military retreat, but they hang on to the hope that the Syrian army will return to free them from the shackles of terrorism, said another city resident, who had to flee before the arrival of the army.
Syrian army officials say that the extremist groups possess modern weaponry, intelligence, drones and direct support from Turkey, Qatar, Ukraine, the US and Israel.
According to the Syrian Ministry of Defense, Damascan troupes completed the reorganisation of their ranks and created a line of defense almost 250 km long, and launched a counterattack with the aim of gradually regaining control of the different regions.
State television claimed that, with the help of Russian tactical aviation, the military eliminated some 1,500 thousand terrorists in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo. Unlike the early war years when Arab governments were against Damascus in terms of the clash between them and the rebel groups, Syria now receives shows of solidarity and support from almost every country in their fight against terrorism. Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad said the current surge in terrorism aims to redraw the map of the region according to the interests and goals of the US and the West. PL
